Brenda, Marketing Works CEO, Named as Finalist for NAWBO Visionary Award
A great leader is indicative of a great team. Because of this, the entire team here at Marketing Works takes great pride in announcing our leader’s most recent achievement.
Our CEO, Brenda Stier-Anstine, has been announced as a finalist for the Columbus, Ohio chapter of the National Association for Women Business Owners (NAWBO-Columbus) 2012 Visionary Award!
Given once a year, the NAWBO Columbus Visionary Award honors one Central Ohio woman business owner who has achieved success with her business while making notable contributions to her community, her industry, and to initiatives for other women in business.
Personally, we can’t imagine a better candidate for the award. Brenda, who has been a communications professional for more than 25 years, has put her heart and soul not only into Marketing Works, but into the community. Currently serving as Chair for the Board of Trustees at the Mt. Carmel Foundation and co-chair of the Mt. Carmel/St. Ann’s Project Grace Campaign, Brenda also manages to find time to work on the advisory boards for Finance Fund as well as The Gathering – an organization aimed at addressing the moral, ethical and spiritual needs of business, professional and government leaders. Through these extensive business and community efforts, Brenda continues to work at enhancing the feasibility of economic vitality statewide.
Joining Brenda as finalists for the award are Michelle Adams of PRISM Marketing Communications, Lisa Huang PhD, PE, RCDD of Advanced Engineering Consultants, Ltd., and Michelle Kerr of Oxford Consulting Group, Inc. We off our congratulations to all of these deserving individuals.
The single winner will be announced during the 15th Annual Visionary Award ceremony, taking place July 19 at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown. The event, which will feature a keynote speech by Cindy Monroe, CEO of Thirty-One Gifts, is open to all members of the Central Ohio business community.
