HMB Inc. – named #1 Midsize Employer by Columbus CEO!
Congratulations HMB, Inc.! We’re proud and excited to announce that HMB Inc. was named the #1 Midsize Employer in the Columbus area by Columbus CEO for their feature story, “Top Places to Work 2014.”
HMB was featured in a two-page spread outlining the company’s success through a relationship-centered approach to their team and clients. The list is compiled through the combined efforts of Columbus CEO, WBNS-10TV, and WorkplacesDynamics LLC of Exton, PA. Results are derived from assessment ratings for employee satisfaction in the public and private sector.
HMB is a business technology services firm located in Polaris and excels at building bridges between businesses and technology. The team at HMB abides by the mantra set in place when the firm was created in 1994, “If you do what is right for your clients and treat your employees well, everything else will fall into place.” Joe Dougherty, managing consultant of more than five years at HMB, says, “This is a company that genuinely cares about its employees.”
Others say they love their job at HMB because of its extensive training program for recent college graduates. HMB offers a three-week long boot camp to prepare graduates for their careers with practical skills. Jared Faris, the director of technology services, says of the boot camp, “When they come out of that, our clients love them…It makes the entire company stronger.” New employees also receive a mentor for the first year of employment, which develops a welcoming, approachable atmosphere for the team.
