On a personal level, I live by this quote. But as a marketer, my sole aim is to make sure the integrity and success of our clients is known far and wide so as to expand their brand and increase sales.
My career and education have taken me in quite a few directions but the common denominator is my love of creativity, data, and business. I have always been attracted to a team atmosphere, and marketing for companies and brands is always a team effort.
I enjoy design, storytelling, brand management, and analyzing the success of complex campaigns. But what I enjoy most about marketing is the people. There is nothing better than getting to know the people behind the brands and companies I support and the people I work with on a daily basis, aligning values and goals.
In “The Prince” Niccolò Machiavelli stated, “Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are.” I believe that applies still to this day for everyone, but especially for companies. I believe my job as a marketer is to communicate a company’s values and who the people are behind the brand. I have a passion for creatively and strategically getting the right people to truly experience what and who our clients are, which leads to increased ROI and client retention based on alignment of values and practices.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, trail running, and hiking with my three children. I’m an avid Florida Gator and Columbus Blue Jackets fan. Being from Savannah, Georgia, I am a true southerner who loves to bake homemade biscuits in the morning with a hot cup of coffee. And yes, I use real butter.
