Moody and Associates, Inc. has been offering clients environmental and groundwater services for over 120 years. With a team of professional geologists and senior scientists, they have maintained their position as an industry leader through their vast experience and expertise. So when Moody needed a better way to show clients and prospects their capabilities in a professional manner, it would have to be something that reflected their diverse background of work.
Marketing Works worked with Moody to design a new Statement of Qualifications (SOQ), one that successfully captured their industry knowledge while also displaying their wide array of skills from energy to ecological services.
During the creation process of the SOQ, the team kept in mind three important questions an SOQ should answer, which were covered in detail in a previous blog post.
- Why should a prospect choose your company?
- What does your company do to help achieve your client’s goals?
- How does your company prove its success?
The SOQ was designed to mirror the look and feel of Moody’s website. Having cohesion and consistency between all marketing pieces was essential for Moody’s sales efforts. With multiple service areas to highlight, the SOQ was divided with tabs into five sections: Groundwater Services, Energy Services, Mining Consulting Services, Environmental Services and Ecological Services. Clear division of service areas with tabs, coloring and clear section introductions helped to enhance the SOQ’s readability and ease of navigation. Additionally, to prove Moody’s capabilities, project briefs were written to spotlight successful client jobs. These briefs were included throughout the final piece.
The end product provided Moody with a professional piece they could provide to prospects, confident that it covered their services, offerings, locations, history, successes and safety guidelines.
