The Columbus Chamber, Overview Brochure, Publication – Move your business forward
This award was received for the production of a new brochure outlining benefits that the Columbus Chamber offers its members. The goal of the overview brochure was to demonstrate how the organization’s model had shifted by offering an array of consultative resources, connections and solutions. Content was written in an engaging and approachable tone. Icons, infographics, testimonials and a success story snapshot were used to enable the executive level audience to quickly grasp and understand member benefits and ROI. Member action shots were used throughout the piece to illustrate the diversity of members in size, scope and industry. All objectives of the brochure were met, most notably the ability to convert 73 memberships.
PRIUM, Direct Mail/Direct Response – Using a traditional tactic boosts physician referral network
This award was given for a mailer sent to personally invite physicians to PRIUM’s booth at the AmericanAcademy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) Annual Assembly. The invitation was created as a result of PRIUM’s increasing client base and the need to recruit additional physician reviewers to join the company’s network. At the booth, physicians were encouraged to explore potential partnerships and become a reviewer. The AAPM&R invitations resulted in more booth traffic than expected and the achievement of 60 leads for both partnerships and reviewer opportunities.

Progressive Medical, External Audio – #SigSeries
This award was given for a video-interview series that provided direct access to the views and goals of state legislators and other influential industry stakeholders on current trends and regulations in the workers’ compensation industry. The SigSeries thought leadership program generated positive feedback from numerous industry stakeholders, allowing Progressive Medical to successfully affirm its position as an expert.
Progressive Medical, Integrated Communications – Claim Your Impact
This award was given for a successful campaign highlighting positive experiences in an industry that is ruled by legislation, burdened with medical costs, jarred by miuse and abuse and troubled with loss of employee productivity. A microsite, video, email campaign, brochure and direct mail piece were created using more than 70 statements gathered from employees about their workers’ compensation experiences. Together, these elements were able to show the true value of the industry. These accomplishments by individuals and organizations, an often overlooked impact of the workers’ compensation industry, and the campaign brought the topic to the forefront in a positive light.
Progressive Medical, Feature Stories, Bylined Article – Vertical Safety Reach
This award was given for achieving Progressive Medical’s goal of targeting vertical trade publications in 2013. A Clinical Pharmacist from Progressive Medical developed a piece for one of their tier-one target publication, Occupational Health and Safety, on building safeguards into prescribing practices that aimed to resonate with all readers. The bylined article received two mentions in Managed Care Matters blog, referenced by Insurance Journal, featured in Risk & Insurance and will receive a mention in Workers’ Compensation Report. These achievements successfully grew Progressive Medical’s presence, reputation as an industry thought leader, traction over competitors and reached new target markets.
Progressive Medical, Annual Report – Reporting on Impacts
Pharmacy benefit managers from the workers’ compensation industry publish annual reports to showcase program impacts, drug utilization shifts and medical and legislative trends that are impacting treatment, costs and overall outcomes. Progressive Medical has released an annual drug spend report since 2008, but in 2013 decided to incorporate the year’s marketing theme of “Claim Your Impact.” As a result of the report’s effective positioning, significant media and industry coverage was received. Highly read, there were 500 people who viewed the digital version online, spending an average of five and a half minutes on the document. Additionally, 225 printed copies were distributed during sales meetings, at the show and to media contacts.
Progressive Medical, Multifaceted, Media Relations – Share of Voice
Wanting to analyze the value and positioning of public relations efforts, Progressive Medical and Marketing Works conduct an in-depth Share of Voice Analysis annually. Evaluating media coverage for itself and key pharmacy benefit managers in the workers’ compensation industry, Progressive Medical establishes yearly benchmarks for performance and influence. Progressive Medical was able to achieve each of its goals by greatly improving its overall visibility, significantly increasing its amount of quality coverage, gaining more media engagement. Overall, Progressive Medical increased its presence in trade and vertical media by 119 percent.
Congratulations to the Columbus Chamber, PRIUM and Progressive Medical on their achievements!
