Marketing Works Wins 2014 Columbus AMA AIM Awards for Public Relations Campaign

On January 23rd, 2014 Marketing Works attended the Columbus AMA 2014 Achievement in Marketing (AIM) Awards to celebrate the best marketing done in Columbus this past year. Entries included multimedia, internet, mobile, digital, advertising, branding, events, public relations and more. It was inspiring to see so many impressive marketing communication campaigns and projects! Congratulations to all of this year’s winners.

We are proud to share that Marketing Works won two 2014 AIM awards in the Marketing Campaign category for a Public Relations Campaign. Our promotional work with previous client Farsite Group and their use of data analytics to predict the 2013 Academy Award winners was recognized with high honors. We partnered with Farsite on a high-profile publicity campaign to quickly gain them visibility and credibility in the entertainment industry and media space. Leveraging both traditional and non-traditional public relations tactics, Farsite’s name quickly became well known when it came to the 2013 Oscars. Throughout the campaign Marketing Works secured coverage in several major entertainment industry and national media outlets including, Forbes, Entrepreneur Magazine, Film Journal International, The Guardian, Toronto Star and USA Today and propelled Farsite’s #OscarForecast to go viral.
