We are excited to announce the newest addition to our team – Bill Kiefaber. Bill is our new senior vice president and will be supporting our team with strategic client counsel, building and mentoring the Marketing Works staff, business development and serving as a member of the executive team.
Bill has led a very successful 24 year marketing and communications career prior to joining our team. That includes serving as a member of several executive teams and also recently founding a marketing automation company, Highbar. His digital background, research experience and digital interests allow him to support many of the modern communication needs of our clients, including inbound marketing, one-on-one customer communication and marketing analytics.
Bill is the perfect addition to the Marketing Works team, and we’re looking forward to sharing his expertise with our clients and networks. In the meantime, Bill was kind enough to let us share a few things about him that you may not already know.
What’s your favorite hobby (current or past)?
I love anything that challenges me to think. Golf is one of the hobbies that I love and have found is the ultimate mental challenge.
What’s the top item on your bucket list?
Seeing both of my children grow up and realize their dreams while spending the rest of my life with my wife – the most wonderful person I have ever met.
Who’s your idol?
I admire anyone that lives each day to the fullest and does their best to make a difference in the lives of those around them. My idols range from inspirational leaders like Martin Luther King, to local community trustees like Laurie Marsh (executive director of Leadership Columbus) to people like Malcolm Gladwell and Patrick Lencioni that make us think differently.
If you could go back in time, which decade would you visit and why?
I do my best to always live in the present, but if I had the opportunity to go back in time, I would choose the 1960s. From the rock and roll explosion to the significant cultural and political movements, it would be an interesting time to experience firsthand.
In your own words, why are you excited to join the Marketing Works team?
My vision for Highbar Agency has always been to create interactive experiences and integrated campaigns that deepen the connection between our clients and their customers. Highbar’s digital marketing services have been well received to date, but we noticed a large gap in not being able to provide the valuable content clients need to build lasting connections and engage their key audiences. To truly make the vision become a reality, we needed to find a trusted partner to provide this content.
