Hello everyone! I am Marketing Works’ new intern, Lynn Lower. I am currently a junior at Eastern Michigan University (EMU). I am excited to learn new skills as well as expand my knowledge by working for a professional digital marketing firm.
The degree I have chosen gives me a lot of choices in terms of career paths. This internship will give me a chance to explore one of them and find out if it is the right fit for me. I’ll only be here for the summer, but I’m hoping to learn a lot in what seems like a short time.
The goals I have for myself are pretty straight forward. I am hoping to improve upon my communication and organizational skills, gain real world experience from working with professionals, and expand/learn research methods. These skills will not only help me finish my degree, but help me perform as a professional in whatever field I choose to pursue.
This summer I am hoping to contribute by keeping information updated and easily accessible for people in the office and those who wish to know more about the businesses/organizations being represented by Marketing Works.
I am passionate about theater arts – the focus of my degree. This fall I will be stage managing my third production at EMU. But, when I’m not working on productions I’m spending time with my friends or reading a book. I am excited to see how I will learn and grow from this experience.
